Job summary

UNIGULF in Kuwait seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to manufacture and restore precision components used in industrial equipment. You will set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure parts meet exact specifications.

You will select tooling, establish offsets, run first article inspections, and maintain records while following safety procedures. CAM programming experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Machining, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Practical experience setting up and operating CNC turning and/or milling equipment.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and the machine controls used.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines according to assigned work.
• Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, material specifications, and machining instructions.
• Prepare or edit CNC programs within authorized competence.
• Select cutting tools, workholding arrangements, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.
• Establish work offsets and tool offsets, and verify setups before production.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Adjust machining parameters to maintain quality and control tool wear.
• Machine new components and support the restoration of existing industrial parts.
• Maintain production records, tooling, and routine machine care.
• Follow safe work-holding, guarding, lifting, and machine operating procedures.
