Job summary

Al Khaled Factory in Kuwait is seeking an experienced CNC Engineer/Programmer to manage precision metal cutting for caravans and mobile units on a Doha-based project.

You will translate CAD/CAM models into accurate G-code, set up and run CNC machines, and ensure high-precision output for brackets, panels, and custom parts, working on-site in Doha.

Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM, G-code, materials like steel and aluminum, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
• 3–6 years CNC programming/operations in metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code/CNC control systems.
• Knowledge of steel and aluminum properties, speeds, feeds, tolerances.
• Ability to read complex fabrication drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, safety and quality control.
• Willing to work on-site in Doha, Qatar under Kuwait head office.

Responsibilities

• Create, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM for steel, aluminum, and composites.

About the Role:

We are a growing company headquartered in Kuwait, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Engineer / Programmer to manage precision metal cutting, routing, and component fabrication for our custom caravans and mobile units project based in Doha, Qatar.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating engineering designs and 3D CAD/CAM models into precise G-code, setting up and operating CNC machinery, and ensuring high-accuracy output for structural brackets, panels, and custom parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Programming & CAM: Create, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to cut, mill, shape, and drill steel, aluminum, and composite materials.
• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines (routers, plasma cutters, or milling centers) to achieve tight production tolerances.
• Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints to ensure parts match exact specifications.
• Tooling & Quality Control: Select appropriate cutting tools, monitor machine performance, and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Resolve any programming, tooling, or hardware issues during runs and perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Cross-Functional Workflow: Coordinate closely with our mechanical design and workshop fabrication teams in Doha, Qatar, ensuring smooth workflow and material hand-offs.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of hands‑on experience in CNC programming and operations within a metal or structural fabrication environment.
• Core Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and strong understanding of G‑code and CNC control systems.
• Deep knowledge of metal properties (steel, aluminum), cutting speeds, feeds, and tolerances.
• Ability to read complex technical and fabrication drawings effortlessly.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to safety and quality control standards.
• Mobility: Fully willing and able to work on‑site for project execution in Doha, Qatar, managed through our Kuwait head office.
