Work corp in Kuwait is seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Chef to lead pastry production at our Al-Kuwait bakery. You will prepare cakes, cookies, breads and more, while developing new recipes to meet customer demand and seasonal trends.

The role emphasizes maintaining quality, managing inventory, and training junior bakers in techniques and safety, with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a baker or pastry chef.
• Diploma/Certificate in Baking or Pastry Arts preferred.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to create unique pastry recipes while also following traditional methods.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• No English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, such as cakes, cookies, breads, and other desserts.
• Create and develop new pastry recipes based on customer demand and seasonal availability.
• Ensure all pastries are consistently made to meet our high standards of quality and taste.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock rotation to ensure freshness.
• Train and mentor junior bakers in pastry techniques, recipes, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
