Job summary

Ecojob in Al-Kuwait is seeking a Pastry Chef with a passion for crafting pastries and desserts to join our team. You will create pastries, cakes, breads, tarts and more to exacting standards while ensuring batter and frostings are prepared correctly and ingredients are fresh.

You must follow food safety regulations, monitor stock levels, and order supplies as needed, while working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience as a pastry chef or equivalent.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and pastry production.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• High level of creativity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, tarts, pies, and mousses to established standards.
• Prepare batter and frostings ensuring freshness and quality.
• Adhere to food health regulations to ensure safe consumption.
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Work both independently and as part of a team with strong organizational skills.
