WaveWorks in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to craft a variety of desserts and pastries for customers in Al-Kuwait. You will bake, decorate with precision, and maintain high standards of quality and hygiene within a bustling kitchen.

Ideal candidates have proven pastry leadership, strong baking knowledge, and the ability to drive menu development while mentoring a small team. Proficiency in English is required; Arabic a plus. Salary is competitive and monthly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment and safety procedures.
Creative mind with an eye for detail.
Ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent time-management skills.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare a wide range of desserts and pastries including cakes, cookies, tarts and breads.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Decorate desserts with artistic flair using piping, glazing and sculpting.
Supervise the pastry team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or event desserts.
