Qualifications

• At least 2 years of pastry chef experience in a professional kitchen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare pastries, desserts and other baked goods according to standard recipes.
• Decorate pastries using icing, glazes, toppings and other techniques.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and order more as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station.
• Train new staff on baking techniques and safety procedures.
