WaveWorks in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to craft a variety of desserts and pastries for customers in Al-Kuwait. You will bake, decorate with precision, and maintain high standards of quality and hygiene within a bustling kitchen.

Ideal candidates have proven pastry leadership, strong baking knowledge, and the ability to drive menu development while mentoring a small team. Proficiency in English is required; Arabic a plus. Salary is competitive and monthly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment and safety procedures.
• Creative mind with an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of desserts and pastries including cakes, cookies, tarts and breads.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Decorate desserts with artistic flair using piping, glazing and sculpting.
• Supervise the pastry team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or event desserts.

• - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen area
• - Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or special event desserts
