Job summary

DHL Express Kuwait is seeking a Country National Operations Manager to lead the Country’s Operations facilities, teams and budget, ensuring pick-up, delivery and shipment processing meet service, cost and quality targets.

You will drive improvements in customs clearance, security, ISO compliance and asset management, coordinate with Regional Hub, sales and third-party contractors to expand the road haulage network, and mentor a team of 100+ personnel.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level preferred.
6–8 years experience in Operations with at least 5 years managing large teams (100+ people).
Project management experience preferred.
Strong understanding of Service Theory, Operations Management, THP/TSP/GSOP, ISO Processes and TAPA.
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Direct accountability for service performance and operational costs.
Maintain ISO9001, ISO1400, ISO1800 compliance.
Plan and develop new facility locations and customer touch points.
Coordinate with regional hubs, transportation, sales and contractors to expand road haulage networks.
Monitor transit times and drive improvements to meet targets.
Lead, train and motivate country operations staff and ensure safety and security compliance.
