Job summary

Confidential Company in Kuwait seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure smooth operation of all equipment and supervise preventive, corrective, breakdown and emergency maintenance.

You will plan replenishment of spare parts and tools, follow up maintenance requisitions with the relevant department, and track expenses to keep them under budget.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant FMCG industry experience.
• Follow up requisitions with the concerned department for maintenance jobs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of production lines as per the schedule.
• Schedule and follow up on all capex maintenance tasks assigned.
• Recommend upgradation of electrical and electronic systems when necessary.
• Track maintenance expenses on a daily basis to ensure it is under budget.
• Audit each machine to identify probable failures and rectify them.
• Control spare parts inventory and ensure optimum utilisation.
• Order/reorder required maintenance materials and supplies on time.
• Ensure GMP and 5S standards are followed in the workplace.
• Report to the manager on any problem or hazard in the area.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the smooth operation of all equipment supervising all kinds of maintenance activities such as preventive maintenance corrective maintenance breakdown emergency cases etc He she is responsible for planning the replenishment of spare parts and tools as needed Degree or diploma in mechanical/ electrical engineering3-5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industryFollow up on the requisitions with the concerned department for maintenance jobs

• Perform preventive maintenance of production lines as per the schedule
• Schedule and follow up on all capex maintenance tasks assigned

• Conduct a timely audit of each machine, identify the probable failures and rectify the same
• Control the spare parts inventory and ensure optimum utilisation
• Order/ re-order required maintenance materials and supplies on time
• Ensure maximum usage of resources with minimum time, risk, and expenses to the company
• Undertake special project
• Ensure adherence to all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls
• Ensure workspace is within the company’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and 5S standards
• Follow hygiene and uniform requirement as per company policy and standards
• Report to the manager or supervisor on any possible problem or hazard present in the working area
• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet Company and department requirements, policies, and standards .
• Knowledgeable in machines operating processes and production equipment
• Thorough knowledge of technical components and functioning of manufacturing machines
• Thorough understanding of health and safety procedures.
