Job summary

Confidential Company in Kuwait seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of all equipment and supervise preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities on production lines. The role plans replenishment of parts and tools, provides technical support to operation teams, and resolves technical and electrical issues across the factory.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on production lines and factory equipment.
• Ability to supervise maintenance activities including preventive and corrective work.
• Track maintenance expenses and ensure budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to operation teams, resolving electrical issues on lines and throughout the factory.
• Inspect all equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment to ensure satisfactory operation.
• Replace or repair wiring and exhaust fan systems to reduce risk of breakdown.
• Install new equipment and electrical service.
• Perform preventive maintenance of production lines per schedule.
• Schedule and follow up on capex maintenance tasks.
• Ensure GMP and 5S standards are followed.
• Report hazards and prepare departmental statements and reports.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the smooth operation of all equipment He she is responsible for supervising all kinds of maintenance activities such as preventive maintenance corrective maintenance breakdown emergency cases etc and planning the replenishment of parts and tools as needed

Provide technical assistance to operation teams, resolving any technical and electrical issues on the lines and throughout the factory

Inspect all the types of equipment to ensure they are operating properly

Troubleshoot all plant equipment required maintenance to assure satisfactory operation

Replace or repair existing wires and exhaust fan systems to reduce the risk of system breakdown and failure.

Install new equipment and electrical service

Perform preventive maintenance of production lines as per the schedule

Schedule and follow up on all capex maintenance tasks assigned

Track maintenance expenses on a daily basis to be within budgetEnsure adherence to all relevant quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, instructions, and controls

Ensure workspace is within the company's Good manufacturing practice (GMP) and 5S standards

Follow hygiene and uniform requirement as per company policy and standards

Report to the manager or supervisor on any possible problem or hazard present in the working areaAssist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet Company and department requirements, policies, and standards Undertake special projects
