Job summary

V2X Inc in Kuwait is seeking a Lead Technical Inspector to perform field and sustainment inspections of military equipment under LOGCAP V, providing technical guidance to subordinates and ensuring QA/QC compliance across all inspections.

The role requires reading blueprints, planning layouts, inputting deficiencies into GCSS-Army, coordinating material needs, coaching staff on SOPs, and maintaining safety in extreme desert conditions.

Qualifications

• 2 years HVAC technician experience; 8–10 years in technical inspection of tactical military equipment; 2 years supervisory experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; MOS 91C, D, J or L training mandatory
• CAC eligibility or ability to obtain CAC; U.S. citizenship; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain U.S. Government Driver’s License and Kuwait Heavy Duty Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, in-progress and final inspections per Army Regulations, TM & Industry Standards
• Read blueprints and modification orders to plan efficient layouts
• Input deficiencies and parts into GCSS-Army
• Conduct manuals/parts research
• Determine materials and order as per customer work requests
• Coach subordinates on IOP and quality regs
• Prepare job order labor and material paperwork
• Follow ES&H and PPE regulations; ensure safe work area
• Use TMDE in daily operations
• Interpret technical references
• Perform other duties as required
