Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure management experience.
• At least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Proven expertise in network, system, and server administration.
• Strong knowledge of port/terminal operations systems.
• Experience with IT security frameworks, compliance standards and risk management.
• Experience with IT project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain port and terminal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems.
• Manage and optimize database systems that support port operations and logistics management.
• Develop and execute IT security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and minimize operational downtime.
• Lead IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring efficient delivery and resource management.
• Mentor and supervise junior IT engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with port operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and security; implement upgrades as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality support and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to port and terminal operations.
