Job summary

Inchcape Shipping Services Kuwait invites a Sales Engineer (Laboratory Business) to drive revenue and build strategic relationships with EPC contractors, labs, and institutions in Kuwait. You will identify new opportunities, coordinate marketing activities, and manage contracts while maintaining compliance and healthy debt levels.

The role requires a chemical engineering/science background and 3–5 years of Kuwait experience in lab-related sales, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 3–5 years of local Kuwait experience in EPC or Trading services, preferably Lab Business for Lab Analyzers & Lab Chemicals.
• Proven track record in sales, generating revenue, principal management & customer service.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, written and oral; able to work independently and manage processes.
• Kuwait driving license is a must; KSE membership is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by maximizing sales and service business, promoting principals’ products to consultants, end users and EPC contractors.
• Identify new niche areas of business and target agencies to expand Lab-related businesses across industries.
• Plan and carry out marketing activities (principal visits, presentations, exhibitions) to promote products.
• Monitor market and competitor activities, generate sales reports to measure performance.
• Track opportunities from concept to commissioning, align specifications with principals’ products during design.
• Ensure contract compliance and manage debt within ISS guidelines to protect margins.
• Maintain market awareness and communicate with Commercial and Sales teams to adapt to market trends.
