Job summary

Vectrus, Inc seeks a DFAC Manager to oversee food services in Kuwait in support of military operations. You will manage vast dining facilities, supervise staff and subcontractors, ensure HACCP and governmental food safety compliance, and coordinate subsistence planning, storage, and distribution per government standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Serve-Safe certification (within 3 years).
• Current U.S. Passport and U.S. or Local Driver’s License.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking English.
• Able to pass MOD18 employment and deployment qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DFAC operations under guidance of the DFAC Area Manager.
• Direct work in designated facility and manage subcontractors.
• Coordinate food service activities including storage, issuance, and subsistence planning.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and codes (HACCP, FM 10-23-2, TB MED 530).
• Manage supervising staff and subcontractors, and maintain equipment and stock levels.
