Job summary

You will manage GAAP-compliant reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and cash-flow management to support cost-effective operations.

The role demands leadership, advanced Excel skills, and experience with DoD or federal contracts. You will provide timely financial insights and robust controls for program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business/accounting/finance is required; CPA/CFA preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting and finance; DoD or federal contracts experience preferred.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets; strong Excel and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall financial areas of the program including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and pricing.
• Directly responsible for completing all financial reporting activities in a timely and compliant manner.
• Develops and implements strategic plans and forecasts; monitors actual vs. budget.
• Review procedures to ensure GAAP, FAR, CAS, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Interfaces with internal and external auditors.
• Other duties include financial reviews, controls, and performance metrics.
