Job summary

Boutiqaat is seeking a Risk Management & Internal Control Associate to strengthen internal controls across operational, financial, and compliance areas. You will identify risks, evaluate controls, and support smarter decision-making across Boutiqaat units.

You’ll dive into processes, collaborate with multiple departments, and help ensure efficient and compliant operations while integrating analytics into the audit approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• ACCA certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform annual and ad-hoc risk assessments.
• Create and maintain Risk Registers based on insights.
• Analyze business processes to identify true risks.
• Execute RMIC assignments using a risk-based approach.
• Review processes like inventory, procurement, cash cycles, returns for compliance and efficiency.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement them.
• Draft observations and recommendations with clarity and impact.
• Document findings with supporting evidence.
• Maintain internal trackers with follow-ups and resolutions.
• Evaluate segregation of duties, fraud risk, and control design.
• Support action plans closures with relevant teams.
• Monitor high-risk areas through regular checks.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve pain points.
• Support data analytics integration into audit approach.
• Keep up with e-commerce fraud, controls, and risk trends.

We’re on the hunt for a Risk Management & Internal Control Associate to join our dynamic RMIC team. In this role, you won’t just be ticking boxes; you’ll be deep diving into operational, financial, and compliance landscapes, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and supporting smarter decision-making across all Boutiqaat business units.

You’ll be part detective, part strategist, part collaborator, working closely with various departments to ensure our processes are efficient, compliant, and always evolving.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support the team in performing annual and ad-hoc risk assessments.
• Help create and maintain Risk Registers based on real insights.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA certificate is mandatory.
• 1-3 years of experience in internal audit, risk, or internal control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint).
• ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
• Must be Bilingual.
• Strong grasp of audit standards and COSO framework.
• Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
• Great communicator with high integrity and discretion.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
