Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair air-conditioning systems in Kuwait City and surrounding sites.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, an ITI/ Diploma in HVAC or related field, and ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Candidates should be physically fit, safety-conscious and able to work across varied environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant HVAC experience.
• ITI/Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and technical manuals.
• Physically fit and able to work on site in diverse conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Maintain HVAC and air-conditioning systems.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AC units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and refrigeration-related faults.
• Carry out refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection and pressure testing.
• Install and maintain ducting, piping, insulation, thermostats and control systems.
• Check compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans, belts, filters and pumps.
• Perform routine inspections and ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, manuals and technical specifications.
• Maintain service records and follow safety and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and air-conditioning systems
• Maintain HVAC and air-conditioning systems
• Troubleshoot HVAC and air-conditioning systems
• Repair HVAC and air-conditioning systems

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of split AC package units VRF VRV AHU FCU and central air-conditioning systems
• Hands-on experience with compressors condensers evaporators expansion valves and refrigerant circuits
• Knowledge of refrigerants vacuuming charging recovery and leak testing
• Ability to use manifold gauges vacuum pumps multimeters clamp meters and other HVAC tools
• Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical controls thermostats contactors relays capacitors and motors
• Knowledge of ducting chilled-water piping insulation and ventilation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and refrigeration faults
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and HVAC energy-efficiency practices

Candidate Requirements
