Job summary

HEISCO is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, and Environmental functions across major EPC and construction projects in Kuwait. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • 12–15 years HSE experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Marine, or Heavy Industrial projects.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or HSE management role.
  • NEBOSH International Diploma, NVQ Level 5/6, or equivalent HSE qualification preferred; professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of project-specific HSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites and organizational levels.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international HSE standards.
  • Manage HSE teams and provide leadership, coaching, and professional development.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Monitor and report HSE performance metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives.
  • Interface with clients, regulatory authorities, and project management teams on all HSE matters.
  • Ensure effective implementation of hazard identification and risk management processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing HSE programs that ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory obligations while supporting safe and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of project-specific HSE strategies, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12-15 years of HSE experience within EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Marine, or Heavy Industrial projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership or HSE management role.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, management systems, and industry best practices.
  • Experience working on major construction or industrial projects.
  • NEBOSH International Diploma, NVQ Level 5/6, or equivalent HSE qualification preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
