Bilfinger is seeking an HSE Consultant in Kuwait (al-Ahmadi) to support hazardous area classification and live workshop documentation. The role requires participation in HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP and related safety reviews with hands-on use of PHA-Pro and BowTieXP.

The candidate will prepare clear workshop outputs, interpret PFDs/P&IDs, and ensure timely HSE report delivery while adhering to relevant safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in relevant field (preferably Chemical, Petrochemical, Mechanical).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Typing skills at 90 words per minute.
• Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Hazardous Area Classification schedules and layouts per EI-15 standard.
• Attend HSE workshops and provide live documentation support to chairmen (HAZID, ENVID, OHID, ISD, HAZOP, SIL, Bow-Tie).
• Capture discussions in clear, professional, structured formats.
• Familiar with PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, Word, Excel, and related tools used in HSE workshops.
• Interpret HSE documents for workshop reports and prepare node markups and worksheets.
• Familiar with Process Safety standards and regulations (e.g., KOC, KNPC).

Job Description- HSE Consultant:

• Experience in preparation of Hazardous area classification schedule and layout and familiar with EI-15 standard
• Technical scribe shall be responsible to attend and provide live documentation support to chairman during HSE- workshops such as HAZID, ENVID, OHID, ISD, HAZOP, SIL, Bow-Tie etc.
• Technical scribe shall actively capture workshop discussions in clear, professional, and structured formats.
• Familiarization with software tools such as PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications used in HSE workshops.
• Strong understanding of key technical documents such as PFDs, P&IDs and shall able to interpret HSE documents required for HSE workshops.
• The Technical Scribe shall be responsible in the preparation of node markups and worksheets and ensuring timely delivery of HSE workshop reports.
• Familiarization with Process Safety standards and regulations (e.g. KOC, KNPC etc.,)

Basic Qualifications for HSE Consultant:

• Engineering degree, or equivalent in relevant experience (Preferably Chemical, Petrochemical, Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience for Oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Proficient in typing skills with 90 words per minute
• Excellent presentation and written / oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment
