Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking an HSE Consultant to support hazardous area classification and live documentation of HSE workshops in Kuwait. The role requires familiarity with EI-15 standards, PFDs, P&IDs, and delivering clear workshop reports.

You will prepare node markups, work with PHA-Pro and BowTieXP, and collaborate across engineering teams. An engineering degree with 3 years in oil and gas, strong communication, and a 90 WPM typing speed are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication and project skills.
• Excellent typing speed (90 words per minute) and presentation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication abilities in deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Attend and provide live documentation support to chair during HSE workshops (HAZID, ENVID, OHID, ISD, HAZOP, SIL, Bow-Tie).
• Prepare and capture workshop discussions in clear, professional formats.
• Prepare node markups and worksheets; ensure timely delivery of workshop reports.
• Familiarize with process safety standards and regulations (e.g., KOC, KNPC).
• Utilize software tools such as PHA-Pro and BowTieXP for workshop outputs.

Job Description- HSE Consultant:

• Experience in preparation of Hazardous area classification schedule and layout and familiar with EI-15 standard
• Technical scribe shall be responsible to attend and provide live documentation support to chairman during HSE- workshops such as HAZID, ENVID, OHID, ISD, HAZOP, SIL, Bow-Tie etc.
• Technical scribe shall actively capture workshop discussions in clear, professional, and structured formats.
• Familiarization with software tools such as PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications used in HSE workshops.
• Strong understanding of key technical documents such as PFDs, P&IDs and shall able to interpret HSE documents required for HSE workshops.
• The Technical Scribe shall be responsible in the preparation of node markups and worksheets and ensuring timely delivery of HSE workshop reports.
• Familiarization with Process Safety standards and regulations (e.g. KOC, KNPC etc.,)

Basic Qualifications for HSE Consultant:

• Engineering degree, or equivalent in relevant experience (Preferably Chemical, Petrochemical, Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience for Oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Proficient in typing skills with 90 words per minute
• Excellent presentation and written / oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment
