Charm Connect in Kuwait is seeking a Head Chef to oversee kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff leadership focused on Indian cuisine. The role requires a strong culinary background and the ability to lead a team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication in English, extensive Indian culinary knowledge, and the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.

Job description

The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations including menu planning food preparation and staff management. They must have a strong culinary background and be able to lead a team to consistently produce high-quality Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in Al-Kuwait and is open to Indian nationals with fluent English.

Salary 900$ per month

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update menus that reflect traditional Indian flavors and incorporate seasonal ingredients
• Train and supervise kitchen staff ensuring they adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
• Stay updated on current trends in Indian cuisine and incorporate new techniques or dishes into the menu as appropriate

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine including cooking techniques spices and flavors
• Ability to manage a team while working collaboratively with others
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution
• Experience working in a fine dining establishment
• Previous experience working in international locations
