Job summary

Client of Hudson Manpower is seeking an experienced Host/Hostess for a reputed restaurant group in Kuwait. You will welcome guests, manage seating and reservations, and coordinate with staff to ensure a smooth guest flow.

The role requires excellent communication, a friendly professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality is preferred and appearance standards should be maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, cafes, or hospitality industry preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems and customer handling.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table allocations.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth seating and guest flow.
• Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting area.
• Inform guests about waiting times and restaurant policies when necessary.
• Assist in handling guest concerns or complaints politely.
• Support restaurant operations during busy service periods.
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards.
• Coordinate with floor staff and management for VIP guests and special requests.
• Ensure excellent guest experience from arrival to departure.
