Job summary

The English Education Providers Group, Kuwait is seeking an Assistant Manager - Finance to join our Salmiya-based finance team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on financial analysis, budgeting, auditing, and reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity of our financial processes.

You will prepare budgets, analyze variances, coordinate internal and external audits, generate management reports, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CMA, CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and auditing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses to support business decisions and strategic planning. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for financial improvement.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and management of the company’s annual budget. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis. Work with various departments to ensure budget adherence and manage financial performance.
• Auditing: Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes. Review and assess internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare documentation and respond to audit queries.
• Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for management review. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other finance team members and departments to achieve financial goals. Provide financial insights and support to assist in strategic decision-making.
