Job summary

A multinational service provider in Kuwait is seeking skilled Linguists to provide vital interpretation, transcription, and translation services. Candidates must have a deep proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and English, with extensive knowledge of Arabic culture. Responsibilities include translating colloquial expressions, providing cultural advice, and conducting translations in challenging environments. This role may require TS/SCI clearance and great attention to physical demands in austere conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and English speaking and writing Level 3/3 of ILR.
• Extensive knowledge of Arabic culture with previous work in the region preferable.
• Experience interpreting and translating Modern Standard Arabic into English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation in Modern Standard Arabic.
• Translate colloquial phrases and expressions.
• Provide advice on cultural significance of conversations.
