Job summary

Advanced Search Group seeks an experienced SSA Receiving Section Lead to manage inbound materiel operations in a theater-level SSA. You will oversee offloading, validation, and documentation, ensuring timely posting in GCSS-Army and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, coordinating with units and transport, handling HAZMAT, and maintaining daily activity reports, with readiness for LOGCAP V deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and 5+ years or HS Diploma with 9+ years in Army supply and logistics.
• Strong SSA receiving operations knowledge and accountability procedures.
• GCSS-Army experience in receiving, MRO processing, stock updates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SSA receiving operations including offloading, verification, and documentation.
• Ensure timely processing of receipts and posting in GCSS-Army.
• Validate shipment docs, conduct discrepancy checks, and SDRs when needed.
• Coordinate with units, warehouses, and transport for proper flow.
• Verify item condition, quantity, and identification; handle sensitive materiel.
• Maintain records and daily receiving activity reports.
• Supervise personnel and ensure SSA SOPs, safety, and inventory procedures.
• Conduct causative research and resolve discrepancies with Stock Control.
• Manage HAZMAT receiving procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Support retrograde, intermodal moves, and theater logistics directives.
• Ensure audit readiness and deployment requirements for LOGCAP V.
