Job summary

Digitus_Group is seeking an EHS Officer to implement and enforce the site Environment Health and Safety program across data center operations, maintenance activities, and contractor works. The role administers PTW and LOTO, conducts risk assessments, and coordinates emergency preparedness to ensure compliance and safe operations.

The successful candidate will lead incident investigations, maintain audit readiness, and drive continuous safety improvements within a high-risk data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Safety, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an EHS or HSE role.
• Experience in critical facilities, construction, industrial facilities, or similarly high-risk environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the site Environment Health and Safety program across data center operations, maintenance activities, and contractor works.
• Administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system and ensure permits are properly prepared, reviewed, issued, monitored, suspended and closed.
• Verify PTW conditions at the work location before activities begin and during work execution.
• Enforce the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program and verify isolations before work starts.
• Coordinate emergency-response arrangements and maintain readiness of emergency equipment.
• Lead or support investigations of incidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
