Job summary

Kimpton in Kuwait seeks a guest services ambassador to greet and assist guests with warmth, using guest names and personalized service. You will stay aware of arrivals at Club Lounge, handle keys and IDs, and act as a trusted contact for resolving issues and local inquiries.

You’ll read logbooks at shift start, answer calls politely, and support colleagues with ad-hoc duties while upholding safety procedures and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly, helpful manner using guest names when possible.
• Provide personalized service and anticipate guests' needs throughout stay.
• Be aware of arrivals at Club Lounge, Club Floors, ICA, and VIP guests.
• Read communication logbooks and notices at the start of each shift.
• Answer telephone promptly with courteous, name and department identified.
• Process IDs, issue room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes securely.
• Record guests' preferences and act on messages, requests, questions and concerns.
• Be a trusted contact for guests, assisting with billing issues and local knowledge; involve management when needed.
• Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear required protective gear.
• Maintain a professional appearance and serve as a brand ambassador.
• Keep aware of events and activities on the day’s schedule.
• Jump into ad-hoc duties when colleagues need help.

• Be fully aware of arrivals at Club Lounge: regular, Club Floors, ICA, and VIP guests.
• Reads communication logbooks and notice board in the beginning of each shift.
• Answer the telephone promptly using your name and department in a polite and courteous manner.
• in and out - take IDs, hand out room keys, and control and release safety deposit boxes
• Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs – record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns
• Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary
• Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you’ll report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed
• Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador
• Always know what events and activities are on the day’s schedule
• Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help
