Job summary

Diyar United Company is seeking an experienced IT professional to administer and support the Citrix environment, including XenApp, XenMobile, XenDesktop and NetScaler. The role focuses on reliability, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution across critical business systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science, 6+ years in IT services, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent IT experience.
• 6+ years of IT experience in IT-related services.
• Experience implementing, configuring and debugging Citrix Receiver and Worx Home on devices.
• Strong knowledge of MDX application wrapping.
• In-depth understanding of Citrix XenApp, StoreFront, XenMobile and related components.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Citrix environment including XenApp, XenMobile, XenDesktop and NetScaler.
• Operate and monitor client-facing applications and critical business systems.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams for application and system support.
• Respond to and resolve issues related to the Citrix stack.
• Provide operational and technical support to keep the Citrix server environment stable.
• Mentor junior staff in end-user support, ticket resolution and server maintenance.
• Identify trends in incidents that indicate systemic issues.
• Prepare SOPs and procedural updates.
• Schedule and test enhancements or new releases of servers and apps.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement IT infrastructure designs.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Administer the Citrix environment (XenApp, XenMobile, XenDesktop and NetScaler)
• Operate and monitor client-facing applications and critical business systems
• Work with IT and operations teams on application and system support
• Respond to and resolve issues related to the above systems
• Provide operational and technical support to keep the Citrix server environment stable
• Assist in technical support of the Citrix environment and the applications hosted on it
• Mentor System Support Specialists in end-user support, ticket resolution, file-system/disk management, server installation and configuration, and procedural updates
• Identify trends in reported incidents that may indicate systemic issues
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
• Schedule, test and implement enhancements or new releases of server operating systems and published applications
• Work with senior/lead system engineers to implement IT infrastructure designs and rollouts
• Participate in on-call shifts

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science, or any Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of IT experience
• At least 6 years in IT-related services
• Experience implementing, configuring and debugging Citrix Receiver and Worx Home on smartphones, tablets and PCs
• Strong knowledge of MDX application wrapping
• In-depth understanding of Citrix XenApp, StoreFront, XenMobile and other Citrix components
• Very good understanding of Citrix Access Gateway and NetScaler
• Advanced troubleshooting skills, applying theoretical knowledge
• Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis
• Able to resolve the most complex Citrix-related issues
• Fluent in English
• Preferred: Citrix certifications
