Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Cathodic Protection Engineer for Kuwait, with 5–10 years in oil & gas pipeline projects. The role emphasizes monitoring design, inspecting construction and commissioning, and ensuring QHSE adherence in onshore pipelines.

The candidate will liaise with clients and contractors, provide on-site training, and be based in Al-kuwait with duties centered on optimized execution and safety standards.

• The Cathodic Protection Engineer shall monitor and check all Contractor requisitions, work packages, risk and method statements etc. to ensure optimized work processes.
• Witness and verify compliance with the design specification including oversight of construction and commissioning to ensure QHSE standards are maintained.
• In addition, provide on the job training to the client counterpart.
• The suitable candidate should have a minimum of 5–10 years of relevant pipeline experience within the Oil & Gas industry together with a minimum of 2–5 years' experience in the design and construction of onshore pipelines.
• The ideal candidate shall be familiar with industry standard codes and construction practises. Will perform liaison duties between client and Contractor.

The job location will be based on Al-kuwait - the preferred candidates must be located in Al-kuwait.
