Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Kuwait City is seeking a Non-Management, full-time staff member for the Food and Beverage & Culinary team. The role focuses on banquet event setup, guest interaction, and maintaining professional appearance and standards.

Responsibilities include team coordination, maintaining cleanliness of banquet spaces, and supporting management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees. The role requires adherence to safety policies and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff is working together as a team and maintain grooming and attire as required.
• Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met and assist with special banquet event arrangements.
• Set up banquet areas/rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of furniture/equipment; inspect table settings for cleanliness and adherence to group requirements.
