Job summary

Marriott International is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for Courtyard Kuwait—Al-Ahmadi area. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, personally preparing items while leading staff, and maintaining high quality within budget constraints.

You will supervise multiple kitchen stations, train team members, and ensure sanitation and food standards are consistently met for guest satisfaction and events.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED with 4 years of culinary/FOOD & BEVERAGE experience, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience.
• Oversees kitchen operations, sanitation, and food quality to meet standards.
• Develops staff and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily kitchen shift operations and production needs.
• Prepares and cooks a variety of foods and guides presentation.
• Maintains purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards.
• Leads kitchen staff, coaches and develops talent, ensuring teamwork and productivity.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
• Participates in meetings and communicates with management.
