Assistant Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the security team: recruit, train, supervise, conduct performance evaluations, and provide professional development.
• Manage security operations: implement protocols to protect guests, employees, and property while ensuring compliance with local regulations and brand standards.
• Supervise property safety: oversee patrols, identify risks, and take proactive measures to address concerns.
• Support investigations: assist in investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss, and policy violations, ensuring proper documentation.
• Oversee emergency responses: manage on‑site emergency actions, including fires, medical incidents, and safety hazards, coordinating with appropriate teams.
• Act as a liaison with law enforcement: maintain communication with local, state, and federal agencies on security matters.
• Ensure accurate documentation: review and maintain security reports, incident records, and compliance documentation.
• Support hotel operations: take on duty manager responsibilities as needed and enforce safety protocols and hotel standards.
