Amentum seeks Aerostat Operators to support the PSS-T program, performing hands-on operation of aerostat systems, maintenance, and payload management. Role includes launch, in‑flight operations, recovery, and mooring, with readiness for extended deployments in austere environments.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or technical associate’s degree, a valid US driver’s license, and an active Secret clearance. Willingness to deploy to CENTCOM/EUCOM/AFRICOM is required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field can substitute for work experience.
• At least 1 year aerostat experience or 2 years in listed specialized disciplines.
• Active Secret US Government Clearance required; US citizenship required.
• Passport valid for at least 6 months; US driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in hands-on operation of the aerostat system, including launch, flight, recovery, and mooring.
• Operate PGSS/PTDS aerostat, MMP, sensor payloads, comms and navigation systems, and support equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and services, troubleshoot, and replace LRUs and payloads.
• Adapt quickly to new situations under direction of higher classified technicians or site personnel.
