Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current Kansas RN Licensure.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a clinical staff nurse; at least 1 year in the target area.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Education or Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Orient new staff to the position and department.
• Plan and conduct education activities for staff.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Oversee orientation documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate staff education and develop education plans.
• Provide leadership to ensure teamwork and apply evidence-based practices.
• Promote practice changes to improve patient outcomes.
