The successful candidate will assist physical therapists in implementing treatment programs, educate patients, and maintain compliance with regulations. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Must have a current and unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in Idaho.
Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
Assist physical therapists in evaluating and administering treatment programs.
Implement exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility.
Educate patients and families on exercises and recovery techniques.
Document patient progress and communicate changes in status.
Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
Maintain compliance with regulations, including HIPAA.
Attend team meetings and participate in clinic program planning.
Provide guidance to therapy aides.
