Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus+ Excellent Benefits

Safety Manager (Commercial Construction/Drywall exp. req.) Description
Our client, a commercial construction general contractor based just south of Baltimore, is seeking a Safety Manager to add to their team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting health and safety inspections, analyzing hazards, creating safety reports, supervising and training personnel, and ensuring regulatory compliance for a variety of projects. You will travel to different job sites, from sports arenas, and hospitals, to data centers, and oversee project safety. Safety Manager (Commercial Construction/Drywall exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Conduct health and safety inspections on construction job sites
• Identify potential hazards
• Review incident reports
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards
• Analyze safety data and trends to identify areas of improvement
• Implement necessary corrective actions
• Create detailed safety reports documenting inspection findings
• Supervise and train personnel (team of up to 5) on safety procedures
• Collaborate with project managers to address safety concerns
• Stay up to date on industry best practices and OSHA requirements
Safety Manager (Commercial Construction/Drywall exp. req.) Qualifications
• 5+ years of safety experience in commercial construction required
• Leadership or supervisory experience required
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
• Ability to travel to local project job sites required
