FAO’s Office of Innovation in Rome seeks a Young Professional Officer (Community-driven Innovation) to analyze grassroots innovations, support farmer field schools, and advance multi-actor learning and knowledge sharing across FAO projects.

The role focuses on agroecology and evidence generation, requiring a Master’s degree and experience in international development; English plus another FAO language is preferred; occasional field work may be needed.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in agricultural innovation, systems agronomy, agricultural economics, or related field.
• One year of relevant international development experience, with focus on agrifood systems, rural development and innovation.
• Knowledge of English (C) and another FAO official language (B) is preferred.

Mansioni

• Analyses technical social, economic, environmental, and tech information for inputs in documents.
• Maintains records, updates databases and web pages.
• Provides technical support to projects and organizes trainings and workshops.
