WORLD CLASS ENGINEERING (WCE) COORDINATOR

In your role as World Class Engineering (WCE) Coordinator you will drive continuous improvement in product development processes and engineering departments. This role requires a deep understanding of WCE methodologies, including process optimization, innovation management, new product development process, support engineering methodologies and knowledge management. You will act as a key facilitator, ensuring alignment between cross-functional teams and leveraging digital tools to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate World Class Engineering (WCE) initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Develop and implement a WCE Roadmap involving all R&D platforms, ensuring integration with technology development, product roadmapping, and the New Product Development process.
• Implement and improve WCE pillars, including Market Research, Innovation, Production Planning, Design, Process Management, Support Engineering, Knowledge Management, People Development & Office Environment.
• Support the early identification of cost drivers and process inefficiencies using data analytics.
• Develop and implement a WCE dashboard with KAI and KPI showing WCE progress and benefits achieved.
• Utilize new IT technology like Power BI for data visualization and performance tracking of engineering improvement, leveraging Power Apps and SharePoint to enhance document management, workflows, and collaboration within engineering teams.
• Apply Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to automate tasks, analyze large datasets, and generate insights for decision-making.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market trend analysis to support R&D and product strategy.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to optimize product development cycles.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring best practices are shared across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields.
• Experience in World Class Engineering (WCE), Lean Product Development, or similar methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps and SharePoint to manage visualization, workflows and collaboration.
• Knowledge of Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to enhance productivity.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and engineering digitalization processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Effective communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in R&D, Engineering Excellence, or Manufacturing Process Improvement.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Agile, or Lean methodologies.
• Familiarity with IoT, Digital Twin and PLM.
