Workforce Staffing (WFS), a division of Worldwide Operations People, Product & Tech, manages Amazon’s Tier 1 talent (Front-line associates) supply chain. We attract, hire, and onboard associates who fulfill orders at the frontlines, making Amazon a global leader in delivery and logistics. Our processes include market analytics, candidate attraction, strategic sourcing, staffing execution at scale, and vendor management. These enable our business partners to meet customer expectations by aligning talent supply with demand.

The Staffing Coordinators play a key role in partnering with staffing agencies for hiring field associates. They interface with the business, partner teams, and staffing agencies to ensure the right talent is hired on time. They are responsible for delivering a high level of Customer Obsession throughout the candidate and stakeholder experience. In this high-volume hiring environment, they support staffing projects, daily tasks, and process improvements. Responsibilities include demand planning, overseeing the end-to-end hiring process, staffing agency readiness and training, onboarding, and orientation. The role requires analytical thinking, a passion for process improvement, candidate experience, and onboarding excellence. We work hard, have fun, and make history!

Key job responsibilities

  • Utilize relevant channels to source candidates and manage internal and agency pipelines, ensuring candidates meet hiring standards prior to onboarding.
  • Execute and audit New Hiring Events (NHE) based on labor projections to meet demand and fill positions on time.
  • Guide staffing vendors and applicants through the hiring process following Amazon's policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance audits to improve staffing processes, including quality of hires, re-hires, early attrition, and candidate experience.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels among stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Travel as needed within designated areas for event conduction.
  • Work a flexible schedule to accommodate staffing needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in talent sourcing initiatives.
  • Ability to work autonomously or remotely.

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS-Office, especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, integration).
  • Experience in high-volume recruitment, coordinating with agencies or direct sourcing.
  • Ability to execute comprehensive recruiting strategies, including employer branding, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview management.
