A renowned fashion brand is seeking a Freelance Womenswear Designer for the creative development of its women's collections in the high-end casual-lifestyle segment. This role involves trend research, collection conceptualization, and collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment with the brand’s sophisticated image. The position is primarily remote but may require travel within Italy for fittings and development meetings.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in women's collections, preferably high-end.
• Ability to oversee projects from concept to final product.

Freelance Womenswear Designer

The candidate will be responsible for the creative development of the women's collections, with a focus on the high-end casual-lifestyle segment, ensuring consistency with the brand’s young, sophisticated, and contemporary DNA.

Main Responsibilities:

• Researching trends, materials, fabrics, colors, and inspirations
• Conceptualizing and developing collections: sketches, looks, color palettes
• Creating technical sheets and supporting the product team
• Collaborating with pattern makers, suppliers, and production

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience, maximum 12 years of experience in developing and styling women’s collections, preferably in the high-end, contemporary, casual/lifestyle segment
• Contemporary aesthetic sensibility , with a young and sophisticated taste
• Ability to work independently , manage deadlines, and organize workflow
• Ability to oversee a project from concept to final product , interacting with the product development team, suppliers, factories, and other figures involved in the production process

Location:

• Remote, with possible meetings at the HQ in Milan and travel within Italy for fittings, product development meetings, and when necessary.
