Keysight Technologies is seeking a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer in Milan, Italy, or Malaga, Spain, to advance 5G and pre-6G development. You will work near standards and real implementations, translating 3GPP specs into robust software and emulation capabilities.

The role requires deep 3GPP LTE/NR expertise, L1 and scheduler focus, C/C++ proficiency, and strong English communication; CUDA experience is a plus. Join a multi-site international team shaping next-gen wireless systems.

Competenze

Expertise in 3GPP LTE/NR.
Experience with L1 protocols and scheduler algorithms.
Proficiency in C/C++.
Strong software development and debugging skills.
Technical English communication.
CUDA programming experience preferred.
CI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and cloud environments preferred.
Experience in multi-site environments preferred.

Mansioni

Design and implement optimized software aligned with 5G L1 algorithms and protocols.
Develop and enhance UE and base station emulation.
Contribute to pre-6G standards, following 3GPP evolution.
Translate evolving requirements into clear software designs, test workflows, and reusable components.
