Keysight Technologies, a leader in advanced telecommunications solutions, is seeking a recent graduate to join the R&D team as a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer focused on Layer 2. You will contribute to design, development, and validation of Layer 2 components in a collaborative, international environment.

The role involves working on 5G/6G oriented protocol software, emulation solutions, and translating 3GPP specifications into production-ready code.

Competenze

• MSc or PhD in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of wireless communications and 3GPP LTE/5G NR.
• Experience with Layer 2 protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP).

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and test Layer 2 protocol stack components (MAC, RLC, PDCP).
• Support UE and base station (gNB) emulation solutions.
• Analyze and implement features from 3GPP LTE and 5G NR specifications.
• Collaborate with systems, RF, protocol, and software teams to debug protocol behavior and validate solutions.
