Nordex SE in Italy is seeking a field service technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs of wind turbines in Policoro, with travel required, including nights away from home.

You will analyze defects, perform repairs, and coordinate with service teams, ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. A strong mechanical/electrical background and good English skills are essential for success at Nordex.

Competenze

• Electrical and/or mechanical education required.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems valued.
• Teamwork and willingness to take responsibility.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, MS Office and in-house systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work at high altitudes and climb turbines.
• Good English language skills (read, write, speak).

Mansioni

• Analyse defects with phone contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously perform simple turbine repairs, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists to inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts and manage on-site materials.
• Monitor booked service reports and steer service process to book expenses.
• Maintain health and safety instructions and guidelines.
