Nordex Group in Italy seeks a field technician to support maintenance and repair of wind turbines. The role requires electrical and/or mechanical education, willingness to travel, and the ability to work at height.

You will analyse defects with the Service Coordinator, perform repairs, coordinate with subcontractors, and keep reports and inventories updated. Fluency in English and strong teamwork are valued.

Competenze

• Electrical and/or mechanical education is required.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems valued but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel regularly with overnight stays.
• Teamwork and responsibility are essential.
• Computer literacy and ability to use in-house systems.
• Readiness for training and high-altitude work.

YOUR TASKS

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines
• Work safely for material and personnel
• Analyse defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists in order to completely inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site.
• Standard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of service process to book expenses correctly

YOUR PROFILE

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems is valued, but it´s not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility.
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work in high altitudes and to climb everyday some of our turbine.
• Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently).
