JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will oversee Trade Marketing Budget allocation and monitoring for the Americas and APAC markets, covering frames and lenses brands. Responsibilities include planning and executing global and regional Trade Marketing projects, ensuring alignment with investment guidelines, ROI, and cost efficiencies. A strong understanding of distribution channels (optical, sports, AFA, distributors, audiological, consumer electronics) and project profitability analysis based on sell-out and sell-in data is essential. Additionally, the role involves innovating and promoting store digitalization within the Professional Solutions Channel.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

  • Develop and apply data-driven strategies to optimize Trade Marketing investments.
  • Define and manage annual Capex budgets for America and APAC.
  • Conduct quarterly Trade Marketing reviews and expense approvals with the CEO.
  • Lead the Digital Windows project for the Professional Solutions Channel.
  • Integrate lenses brands within the global Trade Marketing framework.
  • Coordinate new projects for North America, supporting local teams with trade marketing activities, patient journey setups, and digital integrations.
  • Monitor project progress, report statuses, and address issues proactively.
  • Deeply understand markets and trade channels to ensure tailored in-store experiences.
  • Lead and support internal and external teams, fostering growth and collaboration.

NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

  • INTERNAL: Corporate teams, brand teams, supply chain, procurement, digital innovation, marketing, IT, and retail partners.
  • EXTERNAL: Suppliers and digital agencies.

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing with strong analytical skills, ideally in a multinational environment managing multiple product categories.
  • Project management skills, highly organized, results-oriented, creative problem-solver, capable of working under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience in presentations, team collaboration, and proficiency in English.
