Un'importante azienda nel settore dell'ingegneria cerca un 'Weight Control Engineer' per supportare la sua squadra in progetti EPC su larga scala. Il candidato ideale avrà almeno 5 anni di esperienza nel settore offshore, competenze tecniche, e sarà responsabile della gestione dei pesi e della comunicazione dei dati tra le discipline. È imperativo possedere una buona padronanza della lingua inglese e una laurea in discipline tecniche.

Competenze

• 5+ anni di esperienza nel controllo dei pesi, preferibilmente su strutture in acciaio offshore.
• Competenza professionale in lingua inglese.
• Capacità di valutare variazioni di peso e CG.

Mansioni

• Preparare e emettere procedure di controllo del peso.
• Pianificare e rilasciare report sui pesi regolarmente.
• Interfacciarsi con il team di progetto per raccogliere dati.

Within the Business Line Asset Based Services, the Structural & Architectural Design department is looking for a Weight Control Engineer to support our Engineering team in executing large-scale EPC projects. The engineer will ensure weight management and philosophy meet project and client requirements, as well as international codes, company specifications, and industry standards and regulations.

The role requires interfacing with all project disciplines to accurately estimate weights of bulks & equipment, maintaining weight databases (MON) for current and past projects.

Technical Skills

• Execute activities within own responsibility, ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance.

Own tasks include:

• Prepare and issue Weight Control Procedures
• Plan, prepare, and issue weight reports regularly
• Set up, operate, and maintain weight control software
• Interface with Project Team, collecting data from disciplines regarding weights
• Review data for consistency with plant layout
• Analyze, classify, and process data from engineering disciplines
• Propose corrective actions to improve data communication
• Evaluate weight deviations and CG variations, proposing corrective actions if needed
• Monitor weight implications of design changes
• Back-up input data for traceability throughout the project

Qualifications: Degree in technical disciplines or similar

English language proficiency: Professional level

Employment type: Permanent contract

Experience: Extensive weight control experience, ideally including at least 5+ years on offshore steel structures such as jackets, topsides, floating, or subsea structures

IT Skills: MON (weight databases), Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microstation, SmartPlant Review, Navisworks
