Weatherization Energy Auditor/Inspector

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Weatherization Energy Auditor/Inspector to join our team and contribute to our mission of reducing energy consumption and improving the quality of life for our residents.

Pay: Up to $25/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule: Varies

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive energy audits and inspections of buildings.
2. Identify and document areas for energy efficiency improvements.
3. Perform diagnostic testing, including blower door tests and infrared thermography.
4. Develop detailed reports and recommendations for weatherization measures.
5. Collaborate with clients to explain findings and proposed solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Stay updated on the latest energy efficiency technologies and practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in energy auditing or building performance preferred.
• Proven experience in energy auditing, weatherization, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, energy efficiency principles, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
