• WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Team we have an exciting temporary assignment (minimum 12 months)! We’re looking for a Workplace and Operations manager for Milan!

We expect this new team member to have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in high-profile project and operations management within the Facilities Management or Hospitality Industry.

This person has a proven track record in leading strategic partners and suppliers, ensuring they are set up for success in operating Nike’s inspiring workplace with world-class services and access to sports.

We also look for a great teammate who can effectively establish positive relationships within WD+C and cross-functional teams to integrate and implement enterprise strategies collectively in the key city!

DURING THIS ASSIGNMENT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Manage strategic partner(s) to drive value for Nike within a geo-led collaborative partnership, including contract management with well-defined KPIs
• Lead a team of senior professionals from strategic partners, providing direction and support to meet performance expectations
• Oversee the seamless operation of high-end workplace services including facility management, Sport and F&B
• Manage budgets to ensure operational excellence and productivity
• Collect key city data to identify trends, insights, and gaps to advise geo strategy and programming
• Drive access to sports through programs and partnerships that promote making sport a daily habit and contribute to active cities strategy
• Partner with environments teams and strategic partners to enhance the employee experience during building launches and moves
• Implement and drive WD+C EMEA strategic workplace technologies
• Introduce new processes and programs to increase efficiency and value
• Lead initiatives to make the workplace greener, reduce Nike’s environmental impact, and meet sustainability targets
• Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners to advance the workplace experience, including stakeholders like Territory Leadership, HR, Communications, Technology, Legal, Resilience, and Security

• WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting to the Director WD+C Key Cities, you will implement the workplace strategy in Milan supported by the EMEA Environment and Experiences teams. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to provide thought leadership, manage relationships, and execute workplace initiatives. You will collaborate with senior leaders, acting as WD+C’s eyes and ears on the ground to advocate for the workplace of the future and gather insights to drive innovation.

WHAT YOU BRING

• BA or BS degree required; experience in the Hospitality Industry or Consumer Goods workplaces preferred, especially with large-scale operations
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in high-profile project and operations management within Facilities Management or Hospitality Industry
• Proven experience leading strategic partners and supplier management, ideally at a Fortune 500 company
• Excellent understanding of Facilities, Food, and Sport industry trends
• Ability to operationalize business strategies effectively
• Strong influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of FMMS / CAFM systems
• A relevant network in the territory workplace and sports industry
• Team-oriented attitude aiming for shared success
• Financial and business acumen
• Willingness to travel as needed
