WB Business Analyst

Job Description:

The Wholesale Banking Customer Journey Expert (CJE) within the WB Change organization has end-to-end responsibility for the analysis, management, development, and harmonization of the change initiatives concerning new products, services, digital channels, etc., with a view to achieve a frictionless customer experience, improve process efficiency, and time to activation.

The CJE works in the WB Change Team (within WB COO Domain) in a cross-functional team together with other experts to achieve the Team's mission and ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the implementation features.

He/She cooperates in the development and management of WB products/services strategy, supporting commercial growth, the transformation of digital processes, and operational excellence. He/She collaborates on projects, manages internal and external stakeholders, and solves impediments.

The position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving, a data-driven approach, an orientation to detail and process, and the ability to work and maintain composure under tight deadlines. This position also demands the ability to work collaboratively in multi-functional teams and cross-teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze the needs and align the WB change initiatives roadmap to the strategic goals.
2. Collaborate in the WB Change implementation starting from requirements, identifying and understanding IT and business impacts on the different applications and processes, in line with external regulations, risk, and compliance policies.
3. Identify what our customers need, propose a solution, and work on it with the support of the whole Team and external stakeholders.
4. Translate business requirements into IT requirements, providing all the information needed for the development phase.
5. Contribute to solving product-related issues, making decisions, and communicating progress/status clearly.
6. Develop effective and collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues.
7. Build reports for department usage.
8. Optimize product processes in collaboration with the COO area and design, write, and perform Functional Tests.
9. The ultimate goal of a CJE is to give our customers the best possible experience, always and everywhere.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor in economics or engineering.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a business analyst within the financial industry and within an international and complex environment, preferably with a background in project/product management.
3. Customer-focused and result-oriented approach.
4. Experience of IT projects and working effectively across functions (e.g., Sales areas, Legal, Compliance, Transparency, Privacy, Credit Risk, Finance).
5. Experience in the use of Banking management systems.
6. Experience in Digital Process and Digital Capabilities.
7. Creative-minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
8. Data analyst mindset and capabilities needed for a data fluency approach and environment.
9. Strong knowledge of Wholesale Banking business.
10. Fluent in Italian and English.
