Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a permanent and full-time warehouse worker for our site located in San Pietro Mosezzo (NO), Italy.

The general purpose of this position is to carry out typical warehouse activities, such as: packing, loading materials for dispatch and managing materials in the SAP system.

What will you be doing?

The candidate’s responsibilities will be as follows:

• Check the material supplied by suppliers and take action in the event of non-compliance, communicating this to the purchasing office depending on criticality.
• Store the material in the warehouse and label it with company codes.
• Collect the material from the warehouse and take it to assembly line in production.
• Supervise/assist assembly technicians in loading machines for dispatch, ensuring correct loading onto the truck/container.
• Update the SAP system and coordinate the shipment of subcontracted materials to the supplier based on instructions from the purchasing office.
• Manage stocks of consumables by updating system stocks (Kanban, labels, bubble wrap, boxes, etc.).
• Manage returns from assembly both physically and in the SAP system.
• Manage the allocation, picking and shipping of material in the SAP system, ensuring that the physical stock is the same as the system stock.
• Determine the dimensions, weight and type of packaging required to protect the machinery during transportation and prepare the packing list.

Who are You?

Minimum qualification requirements: a high school diploma or four plus years of relevant experience.

Basic knowledge of English and Office package preferred.

What competencies will you need?

• Warehouse operator experience.
• Willingness to play a coordinating role in the future.
• Ability to develop effective relationships with team members.
• Independent and self-motivated to achieve goals.
• Must be able to use a computer (basic Excel and Word).
• Experience of using an ERP (SAP, AS400 or others) is preferred.
• Experience in managing a team is desirable but not essential.

You will be employed under the national (CCNL Metalmeccanico) with the possibility of joining the associated Health and Pension funds (METASALUTE and COMETA).

You will have access to the company canteen.

Working hours: 39 hours/week. Mon-Thu 8:30 -12:30, 13:00 -17:00, Fri 8:30 -12:30, 13:00 -16:00.
